Prof. Fisher Educational Society was established by Dr. Rumi Sakia Borah, Dr. Arup Kr. Sharma (both are professors of Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara) and Dr. Anjali Bhuyan Deka (Coordinator, Department of BBA, Guwahati Commerce College and Ex Vice Principal of Guwahati Commerce College) on 28/09/18.
The objectives for which the society was established:
1) To provide training on “Research Methodology” to students and teachers of college and university level.
2) To conduct workshops on “Quantitative Aptitude” for the students upto degree level.
3) To provide training on computer applications (MS-EXCEL etc.)
4) To conduct awareness programme for students in selection of subjects of APSC, UPSC examinations.
5) To provide training programmes for school teachers (Montessori level).
6) To provide education to children and enhance their co-curricular activities(mainly Art).
7) To provide awareness programme in Digital Appliances for home makers in our present day life.
